If you’re studying HR, this is where the classroom meets the real world. For just $250, you can attend the HRSouthwest Conference and experience what it truly means to be part of the HR profession. You won’t just sit in sessions—you’ll connect with leaders, meet future colleagues, explore career paths, and see the issues you’re studying come to life.

Your full conference registration includes two dynamic General Sessions and access to more than 100 education sessions covering the topics shaping today’s workplace. You’ll also be invited to student-only sessions and meet-ups designed to help you build confidence, ask questions, and form meaningful connections with peers and professionals who want to support your journey.

And it’s not all classroom-style learning. You’ll attend evening networking events, enjoy two included lunches, and explore The Marketplace, where you can meet organizations, discover HR solutions, and start building relationships that may shape your future career. 

Eligibility Requirements

The student rate is available to: 

• Undergraduate or graduate students, enrolled in at least six (6) semester hours during the Fall 2026 semester. 
• Active members of a SHRM Student Chapter, local SHRM Chapter, or SHRM National. 

Students must complete a short application and be approved prior to registering at the student rate. If you're serious about a career in HR, this is more than a discounted registration—it’s an investment in your future. 

Note: You are responsible for travel and accommodation expenses. 

Pre-Conference Workshops held on October 11, 2026, are NOT included in your registration.

Only completed applications will be considered.
