ROI – Turning the Intangible into Tangible
When investment decisions are made, Return on Investment (ROI) speaks louder than engagement scores, participation rates, and hearsay.
This workshop teaches you what ROI is and how to calculate it using tools to address questions like ‘What’s our return on investment?' and ‘Which program/initiative should we cut this year?’
You’ll learn to translate the value you are already delivering into language and evidence that secures investment in the work that truly matters.

This session continues after the conference. A follow-up virtual session will be scheduled four weeks after the conference to showcase your workshop knowledge and present your ROI case study. And you’ll earn three (3) additional recertification credit hours for participating.
You will receive a ROI case study template, Interview Process Guide, Consulting Process Outline, and ROI Case Studies.

Reclaim Your A-Game: Overcoming Leadership Injury
Consider your leadership story. Perhaps you’ve had leaders who inspired and empowered you — believing in you more than you believed in yourself. Perhaps you have also been hurt by a leader, suffering a leadership injury with lasting effects.
This workshop provides a framework for identifying, healing, and preventing leadership injuries. Drawing on her work with combat veterans, Dr. April equips leaders to address invisible injuries from the business world and beyond using a practical, positive, story-based approach.
Participants are guided on a journey to reflect on their own leadership experiences. Those who have suffered leadership injuries will learn the step-by-step process to overcome these challenges with a hero mindset. Leaders also thoughtfully explore how not to be a villain in someone else’s story — but rather be a guide who brings out the hero in others.
